Rivne Institute of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine located in Rivne. Rivne is a historic city in western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of the Rivne Oblast (province), as well as the administrative center of the surrounding Rivne Raion (district) within the oblast.
Rivne Institute of Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine is public educational institution, which provides training in the specialty “Law” on the basis of General secondary education.
The Institute was founded in 1997 as a separate structural subdivision of Kyiv University of Law of NASU.
Rivne Institute of Kyiv University of Law is the legal successor of the Koretsky Institute of state and law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine under Rivne Branch of Graduate School of Law at the Institute of State and Law. VM Koretsky NAS of Ukraine.

Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (KUL of NASU) is a legal successor of the Higher School of Law, which was established in 1995.
Nowadays KUL of NASU is the singular scientific educational establishment in the NASU system and has IV degree of accreditation.
University has legal right to train the overseas students. KUL of NASU comprises 1 university, 2 institutions, 3 branches, departments and centers.
In 2001 the military department was opened for student training under the reserve officers’ programme.
Form of ownership – state (of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine).
International Affairs: KUL of NASU collaborates with the leading higher educational institutions of the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Russia, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Latvia, Lithuania etc. It gives the opportunity for teachers and students to learn foreign law, exchange experience, provide common scientific researches, participate in the international activities and competitions, and improve their knowledge in Summer schools abroad.
